A- I am not sure where those exact shoes came from but I found a pair very similar, and pretty affordable at DSW! They are by 704b and cost $110.
Hot on the heels of Richard Dawkins’ book defining evolution, designer Alexander McQueen became inspired by the notion of Darwin’s The Origin of the Species, and these shoes and fashions were the result. On the top floor was an exhibit devoted to American Indians, their shoes, & their culture. I have never seen so many different kinds of moccasins in my life. My favorite pair, though, was really cool: moccasins made of actual bear paws, & worn during sacred ceremonies. But dang! Bear paw shoes! I'm against fur, but those are seriously bad ass shoes.

Platform shoes were really popular in Constantinople & other eastern European cities, where they were worn in steam baths so that people could walk without burning their feet. Over time, they became a sign of wealth & privilege.

Despite her excitement at the impending birth of her twin daughters – she was spotted stocking up on all sort of goodies at children's toy store Just Kidding yesterday - SJP has expressed concern at having enough time for all her family as a working mum.
She told the New York Daily News: 'It's been a complicated past few weeks.
'My main concern is that my husband and son have enough time. I've felt very conflicted over the last few weeks.
'Hopefully, our son is feeling loved and taken care of. I can't really complain because it's my choice to work, but that doesn't mean I don't spend a better part of the day worrying about whether my family is getting enough [time] from me.'
She added: 'Any complications or any anxiety I feel is normal. Any mother who wants to continue to work and have a career outside the home goes through this, so I feel very much a part of the sisterhood.'
Teva has so many different flip flops, they could have a company just for flip flops. Most people know Teva for the sandal, but the flip flop is a great shoe also. They have a well built standard flip flop and many modified flip flops.

The toolani is a standard flip flop and at $23 does seem to be the greatest value of the bunch. The Bowen Flip Flop is made with water resistant full grain leather straps. It is a 3 point flip flop and has a traction Rubber outsole. This can be casual or a little dressy. The Teva Mandalyn Wedge Flip flop will give you a little lift. This will help dress you up at $25 it will not break the bank.
If you want a softer flip flop the Mush is for you. The top sole will form to your foot. This will be the most comfortable flip flop at $24. As you can see that Teva has a great selection of flip flops to choose from anyone could keep you looking good, when the weather is nice.
The Hurricane's are much more cushioned with the contoured top sole offering great comfort for feet backed up by three-way adjustable straps to give a great fit. The cushioned heel strap works too as do the triangular link rings that don't dig into your foot or shift around. The anti-microbial anti-smell treatment is a boon as well with none of the cheesy foot pong of our old model making itself known.
We found them excellent as camp sandals, for schlepping around in hot weather when they're far more comfortable than any enclosed shoe we've used, cultivating the distinctive travellers' 'Teva Tan' and for stream crossings too, with the soles giving the promised good grip and the sandal drying fast, also a boon on wet camp sites.
The Hurricane's aren't specialised walking sandals and don't really offer the support you need for extended hikes, though a mile or two proved no problem. If you do want a sandal for hot weather walking, check out Teva's more specialised products and, in particular, the running-specific Wraptor.
The only other drawback is the intrinsic sandal one of leaving your toes vulnerable to impact with hard, rocky things, so if you're the sort of person who scuffs shoes for England, you may be better off looking elsewhere.
The sole unit has moved on too, with dual density EVA providing lots of shock absorption, plus a Microban-impregnated top-sole to fight odours. The tough, but soft webbing straps are adjustable using hook and loop patches and the heel strap is padded with Neoprene. Finally the outsole uses Teva's 'River Rubber' for claimed grip in wet or dry conditions.
The Teva line's developed since then and diversified into fully enclosed boots and shoes as well as more specialised products like running sandals, but the Hurrican, part of the 'originals' range, is the closest relation to the original Teva sandal albeit with a lot of welcome improvements.
